CV tailoring for a specific job

Make relevant experience easier to see, without adding qualifications you do not have.

Start with your existing CV

A saved CV is a useful starting point. Compare it with the job description and select the relevant evidence before rewriting. A new document is not always necessary for every application.

Keep the original and review the job-specific copy

Keep your main CV and create a separate tailored version for one role. Review dates, qualifications, responsibilities and achievements before using a generated draft. Keep any numbers traceable to your actual experience.

Tailoring is not a hiring guarantee

Clear wording can help explain your fit. It does not establish a universal ATS score, guarantee an interview or make an unsuitable role a good match. Employer criteria and assessment processes differ.

Choose the document you want to use

Start with an existing or saved PDF when it already fits the role. CV Writer is available when you want to create or tailor a document. Check the final PDF before attaching it, and review a cover letter draft separately if you choose to use one.

Less repetition. More attention to the right jobs.

Prepare your profile, then review every application before submitting.
